The Gauteng Sport Awards are part of Gauteng Provincial Government’s drive to creating an environment that is conducive to the development of sporting excellence, recognition of talent and inspiration of future generations.

As the Home of Champions, Gauteng Provincial Government has a keen interest and responsibility to ensure that we not only identify and develop sporting talent, but that we also support, nurture and empower our sportspeople.

This year’s Gauteng Sport Awards programme is bigger and better and we showcase our commitment to celebrating and honouring sporting excellence in the province, while ensuring that all Gauteng citizens own the awards and feel an integral part of this experience.
